The Salt Yard: Braised Hake
Cookbook: The Salt Yard, from The Salt Yard Group
Recipe: Braised Hake, with Mussels, Chorizo and Olive Oil Mash
(Omitted olive oil mash in favour of new potatoes and greens. Couldn't get decent hake so used pollock instead.)
This is a scrumptious dish, mixing meat and fish in a salty sauce. As a novice in the kitchen, I was a little daunted to cook mussels but my cheat is to buy the pre-cooked, vac-packed mussels that are easy to reheat and throw in the pan.
